Poker Pro Doyle Brunson to Participate in APT Macau
It was recently reported that legendary poker professional Doyle Brunson confirmed that he would participate in the APT Macau Main Event at the Galaxy StarWorld Hotel and Casino. The acclaimed poker pro will be playing along with his son Todd ‘Darkhorse' Brunson, who is also well known for his exceptional gaming skills.
Among other highly prominent poker players that are slated to take part in the prestigious APT Macau competition are J.C. Tran, Nam Le, Quinn Do and APT Philippines winner David Saab. APT Macau is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 31, 2008. The fortunate winner of the event is guaranteed to collect at least USD $500,000.
Brunson is a truly iconic figure in the history of professional poker play. The poker pro is the proud holder of 10 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. Additionally, he is the first poker player to win both the WSOP Main Event and a World Poker Tour (WPT) title. As of 2008, Brunson has collected over $5,300,000 in live tournament winnings.
