Absolute Poker to Shower Players with Diamonds
Top online poker room Absolute Poker recently announced the launched of FAME, a new loyalty program offering players as much as $45,000 in real diamonds. According to Absolute Poker officials, Fame features five levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum VIP and Diamond Elite. Each level boasts a variety of exclusive perks offered to poker players who reach that particular level. The more real-money games players take part in the faster they will upgrade their FAME level.
Commenting on the new promotion, Absolute Poker spokesperson was quoted as saying, "We believe all poker players deserve to be treated like the rich and famous. [...] So we're rolling out the red carpet with an unparalleled loyalty program that rewards players in incredible new ways including a real diamond giveaway that ups the ante even further."
As part of the new loyalty program, the poker room plans to give away 23 real diamonds worth up to $5,000 via three separate poker competitions. The three players to collect the most FAME STATUS Points from July 1st to August 30th by playing in tournaments and ring games will each nab a $5,000 diamond. The first five players to earn 10,000 credits in July or August will each receive a $2,000 diamond. The first five poker pros to hit a diamond straight flush playing $2/$1 poker or higher in July or August will take home a $1,000 diamond.
